The following courses have a specific registration period:

• Challenges of global change: a geographical perspective, 5 op
  Intermediate studies, the course is offered in both the autumn and spring semesters, 10 places available through the Network.

• Dekoloniaali ja intersektionaalinen feminismi / Decolonial and intersectional feminism, 5 ECTS
  Intermediate studies, offered as a lecture course in English during the autumn semester and as an independent course in Finnish or English during the spring semester, 5 places available through the Network for each implementation.

• Energia, kulttuuri, yhteiskunta / Energy, culture and society, 5 ECTS
  Intermediate studies, can be completed during any period, 10 places available through the Network.

• English Communication through Transnational Online Projects, 2–5 ECTS
  Language and communication studies, first implementation in the autumn semester and second in the spring semester. Prerequisite: B1 level (CEFR) English language proficiency. 5 places available through the Network for each implementation.

• Gamification for Sustainability, 3 ECTS
  Advanced studies, 2nd period of the autumn semester, 10 places available through the Network.

• Ilmastonmuutoksen maailmat / Climate, history and culture, 5 ECTS
  Basic Studies, independent study in Finnish or English during any period, 10 places available through the Network

• Introduction to Environmental Education, 5 ECTS
  Intermediate studies, spring semester, 10 places available through the Network.

• Kestävän kehityksen perusteet / Principles of Sustainable Development, 3–5 ECTS
  Basic studies, 3rd period of the spring semester, 10 places available through the Network for both the Finnish- and English-language implementations.

• Managing sustainability through responsible leadership, 5 op
  Basic studies, spring semester (11 January–6 June), 10 places available through the Network.

• Sukupuolten tasa-arvo moniulotteisena ilmiönä / Gender equality as a diverse phenomenon, 5 ECTS
  Basic studies, offered in Finnish during the autumn semester and in English during the spring semester, 10 places available through the Network for both the Finnish- and English-language implementations.

• Sustainable Urban Energy, 5 op
  Advanced studies, 4th period of the spring semester. No prerequisites. The course includes technical assessments and calculations as well as creative design assignments. 20 places available through the Network.

• Vastuullisuudella tulosta, 5 op
  Basic studies, spring semester (11 January–6 June), 10 places available through the Network.
